Our airbag emulators are guaranteed for life to:

Provide a 2.2Ω (± 10%) resistance to the designated, factory-original mating receptacle of a listed vehicle;
Mechanically insert into and latch with that receptacle.

Exceptions - the guarantees do not apply when:

The vehicle or product is sold or transferred to another owner.
Using the product on a vehicle or airbag location not listed in the compatibility tables.
Using the product on a front seat and not performing the additional required procedures for front seats.

Eliminate False Airbag Warnings

Removing a seat containing an airbag or seatbelt pretensioner causes an SRS warning, but it doesn’t specify which airbag is missing or malfunctioning. This means you can no longer detect if there's ever a different SRS problem.

Use these dongles to filter out "cry wolf" warnings, let the error appear only when there’s an unexpected malfunction, and give yourself and others peace of mind. Because each dongle has the same 2.2Ω resistance as the airbag, it's indistinguishable from the original airbag to the vehicle, so the rest of the SRS's function is unaffected and preserved.

(It does not fix any problem caused by damaged wiring, faulty sensors, or a damaged/malfunctioning/deployed airbag/pretensioner.)

How to Use

Turn off the vehicle.
Always disconnect the car battery and wait at least 30 seconds before disconnecting or reconnecting an airbag. If you’ve already removed the airbag or seat and are just installing the dongle, you can skip this step.
Push the dongle firmly into the airbag connector, until you hear a click.
Try tugging on the dongle — it should not pull out unless you push or pull the receptacle’s latch mechanism.
Don’t forget the extra steps below if this is for a front seat.
Start the car and verify that the SRS error is no longer present.

Most front seats contain additional electronics such as the occupant classification system (OCS), seat belt buckle sensor, and/or seat position sensor. If these are disconnected, the vehicle may show an airbag error even if the airbag itself is emulated by a dongle. What you need to do depends on your vehicle and whether you're installing different seats or simply removing them:

Excellent product AND service!

I have been using Brad's airbag emulator since I got the Sienna in 2021, and it is a life-saver! I probably would have traded in the van if I could not have used it with the seats taken out as I could in my older Sienna. The one time I thought it was giving me trouble, I emailed Brad. He immediately wrote back and he had figured out that my battery was low - no fault with the emulator! Incredible service for such an inexpensive product. I would pay 10X this price and be happy.

I ordered an emulator for my FT86 track car, as I replaced the drivers' seat with a bucket seat. Brad's 3D printed socket ensures the resistor wont get shaken loose, removes dash warning lights, and provides a simple plug and play install.
On top of offering a quality, fairly priced and innovative product - Brad's service is second to none. I had accidentally ordered the wrong connector type, and re-ordered the correct unit. I fully expected to have to eat the wrongly ordered product, as it was my mistake. Brad noticed the double order, called me to confirm, and even went to the DHL store to recall the first connector ensuring I received only the correct unit!

very efficient airbag emulator

After viewing Brad Ling’s detailed video I proceeded to remove the middle seats in my Toyota sienna 2026 since I need cargo space.
I then watched his video describing the airbag emulator that he invented to insert into the airbag plugs to reactivate the vans airbag system.
I ordered two dongles and received them in Canada within 4 days in spite of customs.
They were very easy to insert, and the warning message immediately disappeared on the dashboard.
I was very pleased and it is very reassuring to drive the van with functional airbags in spite having removed the middle seats

I removed my second row of seats on my 2022 Toyota Van only to get a message on my display that I had airbag issues and "contact your dealer".
I first bought cheap resistors to trick the system that the seats were removed but struggled with the EZ to bend wires and was never sure that I connected them properly.
I found Ling-Labs and the resisters that clip into place with the assurance that the connection was good.
Brad coached me to a successful resolve going to multiple dealers to shut off the message and finally found one who got rid of the warning and gave me my display again operating as it should.
If i would have started with ling-labs i would have avoided soooo very many troubles.
Brad gets the wow award for the positive coaching and fine sure to fit components.

SRS Airbag Dongle

Dongle works as advertised. In the original video, I missed the fact that I needed a dongle for the airbag and another for the seatbelt. Brad expedited shipment of the latter so I had it prior to a long trip.

Great solution for 2024 Sienna XLE

I used standard resistors for a whole year. I was constantly fiddling with them to get them to make good contact. I saw Brad's YouTube and I was really impressed with the effort.

Not to mention the customer service was awesome. The shipment got lost and he replaced them at no cost!

2020 Lexus GX460. Removed 2nd and 3rd row to make a sleeping platform. 2 of Brad's round airbag resistor dongle contraptions worked great for my purposes - turned off the red SRS light on the dash, and turned off the center display warning message that kept popping up and would not stay gone, and turned off the amber triangle warning icon on the dash. Brad you're a genius. We love our new Sienna however the main purpose that we purchased is was to have the seats folded down or removed. Much to our surprise the middle seats are difficult to remove and you're left with the stupid dash messages. You fixed our problem, thx

Thank you thank you thank you. Now my 2023 Sienna XLE is a camper. Removed the center seats and plugged the dongles in. That was five days ago, all good since! The dealer I bought mine from, Edmark Toyota in Nampa, ID lied to me, saying the seats were removable. Then when I took it to my local body shop to have them taken out, surprise! That was nine months ago. Such a relief now to have what I expected in such a big purchase.

I ordered an emulator for my 2012 Scion iQ for the front passenger seat that I removed. Although it physically fits, it does not stop the airbag light.

As stated on the product page, there are additional procedures needed for front seats due to the occupant classification system.

Worked great, thank you! I pulled the smaller back seat out of my 2010 Lexus RX and couldn't get the warning lights to turn off even with the battery disconnected. I spent a fruitless afternoon taking the seat in and out and trying to troubleshoot. But, your legacy plug fixed it immediately. This is an odd, niche product and I'm very glad you made it!

My 2023 Sienna XLE is now FIXED. Thank you. Just like the chart says one square and one round for each seat (4 total). So worth it.

Just did the whole seat-removal process on our 2022 Sienna XLE AWD, 2nd row captains chairs. Your process and sequence is spot on, the dongles do the magic, nothing on my display, It's now a 2-person rolling crash-pad with a pop-up kitchen out of the rear well.

Thank you Brad for coming up with this great dongle. I bought 2 round plugs for our 2022 Toyota Sienna. We have no more annoying airbag message. Each plug cost $15 +shipping handling and taxes of course. At the end of the day you can spend an easy $20. ($40 for 2) THANKS AGAIN!

I bought two of the round Airbag Simulators a few weeks ago and have driven a few hundred miles since I installed them.
